unoccupied residential burglaries
BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office West Precinct General Crimes Unit is attempting to identify the suspect(s) responsible for unoccupied residential burglaries in the Suntree area.

Since March 20, 2013, there have been approximately 10 daytime burglaries in the Suntree / Viera area between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Entry was made into residences in the same manner by breaking the rear glass doors. The suspect is able to enter through the opening in the broken glass without actually opening the door, avoiding security alarm activation.
Suspicious Male Knocking On Front Doors
During the time period of the burglaries, two residents in the area called the Sheriff’s Office to report a suspicious male knocking on their front door and offering to provide them with lawn services. This individual left the area after each declined and he was witnessed to be operating a smaller white or tan colored unknown make sedan.
This individual is described as a stocky black male, approximately 5’7 with gold teeth, wearing denim type shirt, dark pants and dark colored baseball cap. This individual matches the description of the suspect responsible for burglaries in Port Orange, Florida, the prior week.
