Spring Break Classic Tests Prep Baseball Squads

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – For some prep baseball players, spring break is much more than time away from the classroom.
This year, some area prep baseball teams spent part of their spring break playing in the 22nd Annual Scott’s Sports Pirate Classic at Palm Bay High School.
The tournament ran from March 25 to 27 and included four teams from Brevard County and squads from Washington DC, Polk County, St. Lucie County and Orange County.
It’s an annual tradition that showcases some of the top prep players suiting up locally this year and gives coaches a better understanding what to expect from teams as district races heat up with the approach of postseason play later this month.
