BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Pregnancy Resources’ hosted their 23rd annual Walk for Life event on March 16, raising a total of $62,000.

More than 1,500 sponsors and walkers participated in the event, which included a two-mile walk around Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach.

All Walk for Life proceeds directly benefit Pregnancy Resources, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free programs and services including on-site pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, parenting classes, resource referrals and baby necessities to assist women and families facing an unexpected pregnancy.

The family-friendly event catered to all ages with bounce houses, clowns, face painting and balloon artists. Attendees also enjoyed entertainment and refreshments, courtesy of Chick-fil-a of Palm Bay.

“We are thankful for the support of our Walk for Life walkers and sponsors,” said Judy Miller, Executive Director. “They help us fulfill our goal of supporting women to ensure their health and positive outcomes for their babies.”

Pregnancy Resources provides free services, education and support in a compassionate environment to women and families facing unexpected pregnancy.
