Will Compete For Marietta College In Ohio
BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – SpaceCoastDaily.com First Team defensive back Ryan Riemer of Florida Air Academy is taking his game to the next level.

Riemer has given a commitment to Marietta College of Marietta, Ohio and will be suiting up for the NCAA Division 3 school in the fall.
The Marietta Pioneers compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference against schools such as Mount Union, Heidelberg, Otterbein, Baldwin Wallace, John Carroll, Ohio Northern, Muskingum, Capital and Wilmington.
A former West Melbourne youth football star, Riemer played football for four years for Florida Air Academy and saw action on both sides of the ball.
Riemer’s crucial sack of the North’s Joe Brown of Rockledge in the third quarter of this year’s annual Brevard County Prep Football All-Star Game helped the South defeat the North 3-0.
He will play for Marietta under the Pioneers’ new head coach Andy Waddle, who has coached defense for the past eight years at Wittenberg University in Ohio.
Ryan is the son of Jim and Heidi Riemer of West Melbourne and will study accounting at Marietta.
He made an official visit to the school while on spring break and also visited Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Ala.
