Fire Crews Fight Brush Blaze off West Eau Gallie Blvd.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Crews from Brevard County Fire Rescue and Melbourne Fire Rescue are on scene of a brush fire off of West Eau Gallie Blvd. and Paw Prints Ave in Melbourne.
The fire is located just behind Doug Connor Inc. across the street from the South Brevard Animal Shelter.
Two engine companies are providing structural protection while three brush trucks are working the actual fire.
The main building of Doug Connor Inc. is just a few hundred yards from the fire but is being protected by fire crews.
There are no evacuations or road closures at this time. The fire is in heavy fuel, but is currently slow moving.
