Ivey, Archer To Speak At Palm Bay Chamber

The Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce networking luncheon is held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Life Care Center of Palm Bay at 175 Villa Nueva Ave. NE off Malabar Road – just west of Palm Bay Hospital. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members or at the door.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce has invited Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey to speak at their July monthly networking luncheon on Wednesday, July 3, according to Victoria Northrup, president & CEO.

In August, the Chamber has invited State Attorney Phil Archer to speak at their August 7 luncheon. Both events will be held at the Life Care Center of Palm Bay off Malabar Road

Sheriff Wayne Ivey has over 30 years experience in law enforcement and management and currently manages both field offices in Brevard and Volusia Counties supervising all statewide criminal investigations. He will speak to the chamber members about his position and criminal trends that are increasing across the state.

State Attorney Phil Archer, with over 27 years experience in the State Attorney’s office, has held the office of division chief for several major divisions as well as felony and misdemeanor trial attorney.

Archer will discuss some of the new changes he has made including the creation of the Economic Crimes/Elder Services Division and how it will work with the new Economic Crime Task Force. He will also discuss the financial impact of economic crime to businesses and individuals as well as some of the current scams and frauds targeting our community.

Registration begins at 11:30am and the program starts at noon, Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members or at the door, student and media rates are available.
