Car Goes Airborne Off Pineda Cswy. Into Indian River

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A late model Infinity veered off the west bound lanes of the Pineda Causeway around 12:30 p.m. today and ended up in the Indian River in about three feet of water.

A Brevard County Fire Rescue representative said that the car went airborne after a tire blew, and the driver was taken to an area hospital. The extend of the driver’s injuries are not know at this time.
