ABOVE VIDEO: The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to identify the suspect in the above video who burglarized Skeeter Lagoon Family Grill in Cocoa.

UPDATE: THE SUSPECT PICTURED FROM SURVEILLANCE VIDEO COMMITTED SUICIDE IN MERRITT ISLAND DURING A STANDOFF WITH BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF’S  SWAT TEAM, LAST FRIDAY. According to officials,suspect was also wanted for questioning about the flea market fire in Port St. John the Brevard County Fire MarshallHE WAS ALSO WANTED FOR QUESTIONING ABOUT THE FLEA MARKET FIRE  

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Sheriff’s Agents captured a business video surveillance image of a Burglary, and the Deputies need your help to identify the perpetrator.

The video, which you can view above, shows a white male, wearing white shorts and a light colored shirt. The suspect entered the fenced-in area and gained access to the patio portion. Shortly thereafter, a fire was reported at the Space Coast Flea Market located on the property adjacent to Skeeter's. (BCSO video image)

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department, the Burglary occurred at Skeeter Lagoon Family Grill in Cocoa last night at about 2 a.m. Skeeter Lagoon Family Grill is located at 5601 North US 1.

The video, which you can view above, shows a white male, wearing white shorts and a light colored shirt. The suspect entered the fenced-in area and gained access to the patio portion. Shortly thereafter, a fire was reported at the Space Coast Flea Market located on the property adjacent to Skeeter’s.

The Burglary investigation is ongoing, and it is undetermined at this time if the Burglary and fire are related. The Space Coast Flea Market fire is being investigated by State Fire Marshall Amelia Hitchcock, who can be reached at 386-547-3317.
