BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department is conducting an investigation into the death of two people at the Harvard Apartments located at 4931 Widener Court, #12 (map above).

According to the Melbourne Police Department, officers discovered Tyrone Johnson, 36, of Melbourne, and Beth Jansen, 38, of Indialantic, both dead after responding yesterday at about 3:30 p.m. to a well-being call from a concerned friend of Johnson.

Both Johnson and Jensen had gunshot wounds, and a firearm was located at the scene.

Detectives are currently investigating this incident, including the relationship between Johnson and Jensen, and an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted today.

Although the Melbourne Police Department is currently investigating this incident, at this point of the investigation Melbourne Police are not looking for any additional suspects. The crime scene is contained to the apartment in which the deceased were found.
