Wednesday Evening Update on Tropical Storm Dorian

WIND GUSTS AT 63 MPH

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The National Hurricane Center issued its Wednesday evening advisory about Tropical Storm Dorian.

As of the latest update from the National Hurricane Center,Tropical Storm Dorian is located 14.6 N, 31.4 W, moving toward the West-Northwest near 20 MPH, with Maximum sustained winds are near 52 MPH, with higher gusts up to 63 MPH and  minimum central pressure of 1002 MBDorian may approach the Leeward Islands, including the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, late Sunday night or Monday,

According to the Weather Channel, cooler water, and wind shear loom ahead of the system later this week.  Those conditions may weaken Dorian during its movement.  See the latest projection cone and Satellite images below.
