Central Brevard Humane Society ‘Tuxes & Tails’ Gala Aug. 10

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Central Brevard Humane Society will host the 2nd Annual Tuxes And Tails Gala on Saturday evening.
An Evening Filled With Stars Live on the “Catnip Carpet” will be held at the Indian River Colony Club’s newly renovated Colony Hall, located at 1936 Freedom Drive in Melbourne (main entrance off of Murrell Road), from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Honorary hosts will be Tom and Susie Wasdin, and the event will be the “barking of the town” with anticipation and excitement to see who will show up live on the “Catnip Carpet.”
The program will include star performances from the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse Presenters, live and silent auctions, specialty cocktails (pawtinis & barkaritas) and heavy hors d’oeuvres, festive music with a special presentation to recognize community leaders who have significantly contributed to the organization’s success during the past year.

The cost to attend the event is $100 per person or $150 per couple. V.I.P. Packages are still available. The dress for the evening will be “red carpet” cocktail attire (black tie optional).
