Suspect Arrested for Barefoot Bay Burglaries
By Sheriff Wayne Ivey // August 9, 2013
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — I would like to take a moment to recognize Agent Jack Hannigan of our South Precinct for apprehending a suspect connected to numerous residential burglaries in the Barefoot Bay area.

Between July 4th and July 23rd, the area of Marlin Circle and adjoining streets were targeted with a series of burglaries.
Agent Jack Hannigan initiated an investigation into the burglaries and subsequently identified Robert Masters as the perpetrator of the crimes. Agent Hannigan charged Masters with multiple counts of Burglary, Grand Theft, False Verification of Ownership, and Dealing in Stolen Property. Pursuant to his arrest, Masters admitted to having committed four additional burglaries in the area and to having sold the stolen merchandise at various locations throughout the county.
Agent Hannigan did an excellent job at not only identifying the suspect but in pursuing other potential cases as well. I greatly appreciate Agent Hannigan’s hard work and commitment to help protect our citizens and community.
