Zoomin Groomin Selected Cocoa Beach Chamber Business Champion

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business Resource Council has selected Zoomin Groomin as Business Champion of the Month for July.
Zoomin Groomin was cited for exemplary performance in customer service and overall best business practices.
According to Denny Watkins, Business Resource Council Chair and Owner of Select Insurance Group, the Business Champion is an award designed to recognize excellence in business while meeting the criteria of the Small Business Administration.
Nominations are made by Chamber partners, and the selection is made by the Board of Directors of the Business Resource Council.
“One of the goals of the Business Resource Council is to find ways to enhance and improve the professionalism of our membership and to ensure that all of our members provide first class service to their customers, whether their customers are humans or animals,” Watkins said.
“Zoomin Groomin more than meets that standard.”
‘I LOVE BEING A PARTNER’
Cathy and Mark Evans, owners of Zoomin Groomin, launched their business in June 2011, and joined the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s Networks Leads Club in Cocoa Village.
“I love being a partner with the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber and networking with all of the businesses in the community,” said Cathy Evans.
“The business has grown over the last two years from grooming a few days a week with one groomer on staff to now grooming seven days a week with two experienced groomers.”
The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce was established in 1968 and serves Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, Patrick Air Force Base, Port St. John, Rockledge, Palm Shores, Suntree, Viera and Brevard County.
