BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Health First Foundation is pleased to announce it will again host the Health First Golf Classic charitable event, Saturday, September 14, at Suntree Country Club and Duran Golf Club, Viera.
The event features an 18-hole tournament with two course options. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Means/Garrison Endowment for Nursing Excellence.

Money that is raised will help provide nurses with educational scholarships to improve their knowledge and skills. It will also help them keep up-to-date on innovations in medical care.
Community support for the fund will benefit Health First’s nursing teams of more than 2,000 highly skilled compassionate caregivers.
BARRY RICHARDSON IS CHAIRING THIS YEAR’S TOURNAMENT
Health First Foundation Board of Directors member and President of Rivertree Builders Barry Richardson is chairing this year’s tournament.
“It’s a format that allows novice golfers to play and have fun as well as those more experienced with the game,” says Richardson. “We want everyone to feel welcome and to come enjoy the day while supporting this great cause.”
He will be assisted by vice chair and Manager of Florida Business Bank Terry Gabbard. This year’s event will feature a “scramble” format, allowing each team to count only the best shots.
