Cocoa’s Pratt Named Prep Football Player of Week

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Cocoa’s Lorrenzo Pratt has been named the SpaceCoastDaily.com–Friday Night Locker Room Prep football Player of the Week as he rushed for 347 yards on 27 carries and scored four touchdowns, leading the Tigers over a stunned Seabreeze 62 – 21.
Pratt, who is currently eighth on the SpaceCoastDaily.com Top 85 midseason ranking, scored four times with runs of 2, 8, 15 and 63 yards. Pratt’s season stats after seven games is 121 carries for 866 yards and 9 TDs.
Cocoa (5-1) will travel to Space Coast to take on the Vipers (6-1) next Friday night, in what has shaped up to be a key District 5-4A game.
Space Coast QB Nick Rittenhouse lead the Vipers to a huge 63-38 win last week over Poinciana as he accounted for 9 TD’s – five through the air and four on the ground.
