King, Mitchell Earn EFSC Student-Athlete Honors

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Soccer players Keenan King and Nikki Mitchell are the Eastern Florida State College Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Week respectively for the week ending Oct. 13.

Mitchell, a sophomore forward from Toronto, Canada, scored two goals for nine on the season, tying her for the team lead, as the Titans blanked Broward College 5-0 on Friday. (EFSC image)

King, a freshman defender from Boynton Beach High in Boynton Beach, FL, anchored the Titans backline from his left and center back positions and scored the second goal in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Broward College.

The victory improved the Titans record to 8-1-1. The men earlier secured an NJCAA Division I postseason berth.

Mitchell, a sophomore forward from Toronto, Canada, scored two goals for nine on the season, tying her for the team lead, as the Titans blanked Broward College 5-0 on Friday.

The victory improved Eastern Florida’s record to 8-2-1 and secured a third straight NJCAA Division I postseason berth.
