Florida Tech Baseball Program Set To Hold Camps

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Florida Tech Panthers baseball program will be holding camps for the public over the next couple of months.
Every Sunday during the month of October the baseball program will hold a hitting and pitching league.
The league will take place at Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field. The league is designed for all age players. Each player will receive instruction from the Florida Tech coaching staff, along with an organized point system to track progress and compete with other players in the league.
At the conclusion of the league, each player will receive a written evaluation from the Florida Tech coaching staff.
COST TO JOIN IS $100
The cost to join the league is $100 which is non-refundable, and covers all four dates during the month. Four time slots will be assigned for each date (11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.). Players will need to bring baseball shoes, sneakers, bats, and a glove. The hitting and pitching league will begin on Oct. 6.
CAMP TO BE HELD ON NOV. 23
The Panthers baseball program will also hold a Showcase Camp on Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. ET at Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field. Florida Tech head baseball coach Greg Berkemeier will direct the camp.
The staff will be comprised of experienced college coaches, professional players and scouts, and former and current players. The staff will teach both fundamentals and techniques of hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching, base running, and team play. There will also be a recruiting talk for parents.
The showcase camp is for players ages 15-18. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during live games, defensive workouts, batting practice, timed 60’s, and instructional segments.
Participants will also need to bring their own equipment from baseball shoes, sneakers, bats, gloves, batting gloves, practice pants, and hat. Also, catchers will also need to bring their own catchers gear. Hotel information is available by contacting the Florida Tech baseball office.
SHOWCASE CAMP COST $125
The Showcase Camp costs $125 which is non-refundable, and interested players need to register by Nov. 15. Space is limited. An information flyer and registration form can be found in the related links box.
