Tech Volleyball Takes on Saint Leo At 4 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The streaking Florida Tech volleyball team (12-2, 3-1 SSC) returns to action this weekend and face Florida Southern (11-5, 3-1 SSC) on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. and Saint Leo (12-5, 2-2 SSC) on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 4 p.m.
Live stats will be available for both weekend contests and a video stream will be provided for Friday’s game at FSC.
Ashtin Truesdale has registered a double-double in each of her last two SSC games, straight set victories over Lynn on Oct. 4 and Nova Southeastern on Oct. 5.
Charlie French recorded nine kills against the Fighting Knights and 14 against the Sharks while sophomore Alea Hamm leads all SSC players in blocks/set with 1.19/set. Hamm currently ranks 22nd in NCAA Division II in blocks/set and the Panthers as a team rank 18th with 2.35 per set.
The Mocs return to SSC action after splitting two non-conference matches and the Lions ride a two-game winning streak after victories over Rollins College and Eckerd College.
