Magalhaes, a freshman from Joao XXIII School in Sao Paolo, Brazil, has played every minute of the Eastern Florida men’s soccer team’s eight games, six of them victories in September en route to a 7-1 record.

Magalhaes also has scored two goals. The women’s and men’s team are nationally ranked by both the NJCAA and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the men seventh by the NSCAA and eighth by the NJCAA and the women 11th by the NJCAA and the NSCAA.
