Florida Tech String and Wind Ensemble, Jazz Bands Set For Dec. 3 and 4

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Institute of Technology’s Music Program presents two free December concerts—the String Ensemble and Concert Band on Tuesday, Dec. 3, and the Jazz Syndicate Combo on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The free concerts start at 7 p.m.

The String Ensemble and Concert Band presentation, “Intermezzo: Opera Masterpieces for Orchestra,” will take place in the Gleason Performing Arts Center. Great works from operas by Strauss, Wagner, Mozart and Tchaikovsky are featured.

The Jazz Syndicate Combo, Florida Tech’s premier jazz improvisation combo, will perform “Do You Hear What I Hear? Jazz for the Holidays” in the Denius Student Center’s John and Martha Hartley Room, second floor. Expect a concert of jazz spiced with holiday favorites.
