Only a few months after Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos made international news with his purchase of “The Washington Post” the internet tycoon is making new headlines with his plan to use drones to deliver packages to Amazon’s consumers.

During an interview with Charlie Rose on CBS’ “60 Minutes”, Bezos said:

“We can do half hour delivery and we can carry objects up to five pounds, which covers 86% of the items that we deliver…You give them GPS coordinates to go to and they find those coordinates…I know it can’t be before 2015 because that’s the earliest that we can get the rules from the FAA. It will work, it will happen and it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
