BREAKING: Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Cocoa

Incident at 1451 Clearlake Road

UPDATE: According to Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes, Mark Porwet, 31 of Cocoa was driving a Lincoln Aviator northbound on the inside lane of Clearlake Rd when he struck Joseph Banks, 48, of Cocoa. Calvin Cambridge, 57, of Rockledge was also traveling northbound and collided with Banks, who was lying on the road.
The crash remains under investigation.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A major accident has been reported at 8:35 p.m. by authorities at 1451 Clearlake Road in Cocoa.
Units are on scene and it has been reported that a pedestrian has been struck and killed.
