Florida Tech sophomore dominates SSC

ABOVE VIDEO: Florida Tech’s Corbin Jackson threw down a ferocious dunk on Dec. 7, 2013 against Lynn University. Jackson finished the game with 21 points, 17 rebounds, four blocks, one assist and one steal in the Panthers’ 103-81 Sunshine State Conference opening win. Jackson was No. 4 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays, which aired on Saturday, Dec. 7. 

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Redshirt sophomore Corbin Jackson entertained the crowd at the Clemente Center in Florida Tech’s (8-1, 1-0 SSC) 103-81 victory over Lynn University (5-2, 0-1 SSC) on Saturday afternoon as his dunk over the Fighting Knight’s defender landed at No. 4 on Sports Center’s Top 10 Plays on Saturday.

The play marks the third consecutive season that an FIT player makes Sports Center Top 10 Plays with Simon Cummings and David Usicshowcased in the last two seasons, respectively.

Jackson’s dunk was No. 3 earlier in the evening before coming in at No. 4 in the 1 a.m. live edition of Sports Center.

The Panthers return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 17, hosting Fisher College of Mass. at 7:30 p.m. at the Clemente Center.
