‘Charlie’ Romandetti Passes Away At 86

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE BEACH, FLORIDA – ‘Charlie’ Romandetti was born on March 15, 1927 and passed away peacefully, at his residence in Melbourne Beach, on January 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Known for his easy smile, quick jokes and fabulous parties, Charlie Romandetti will be greatly missed in our community that he’s called home since 1982.

Preceded in death by his Wife Betty of 51 years, he is survived by his Son, Chris, Daughter-in-law Kris, Daughter Janet, Granddaughter Karina, Grandson’s Christian and Evan and many Nieces and Nephews.

Known for his easy smile, quick jokes and fabulous parties, Charlie will be greatly missed in our community that he’s called home since 1982. After serving in WW2 and the Korean War, he raised his family in Northport, Long Island where he retired from his custom cabinetry business to relocate to Melbourne.

Charlie actively participated in the development of Shooters Waterfront Café, Intracoastal Marina, Buy Direct Marine and the County Line Saloon.

Known for his easy smile, quick jokes and fabulous parties, Charlie will be greatly missed in our community that he’s called home since 1982. After serving in WW2 and the Korean War, he raised his family in Northport, Long Island where he retired from his custom cabinetry business to relocate to Melbourne.

As an avid RV’er, Charlie enjoyed many cross country trips making memories and many friends along the way. If you were around Charlie you were smiling and laughing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes in Melbourne, Florida. Graveside services will be immediately following at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida. Arrangements are by Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne.
