Corvette Owners Donate To Less Fortunate For Holidays

COCOA, FLORIDA — The Cape Kennedy Corvette Club and Space Coast Vettes Club joint Toy Run held last month resulted in Corvette owners donating more than $3,800 worth of toys, books, gift cards and cash for needy children from infants to 18 year-olds.

Space-Coast-Vettes-Club-180-2In addition, two boxes of food and $1,000 cash were donated to Central Brevard Sharing Center to feed seniors in need.

The Cape Canaveral Volunteer Fire Department (CCVFD) collected all the gifts at Port Canaveral where the Toy Run ended. The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and the CCVFD distributed the donated items before Christmas.
