Melbourne Police Arrest Two Men During Prostitution Sting

MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — In continuing efforts to target the persons that patronize street prostitutes within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Operations Unit conducted a reverse prostitution detail.

According to Melbourne Police,  a total of two arrests were made during the detail. The below listed persons were arrested on the accompanying charges.

• Arrested: Michael Charles Longo, age 52

Charges:

  • Solicitation for Prostitution (Misdemeanor)
  • Armed Trafficking in Oxycodone (Felony)
  • Possession of Firearm during Commission of a Felony (Felony)
James Emmett Rosasco
James Emmett Rosasco

• Arrested: James Emmett Rosasco, age 71

Charges:

  • Solicitation for Prostitution (Misdemeanor)
  • Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Deliver
  • Possession of Firearm during Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of Cannabis Less than 20 Grams
