Christian Tambuur Quartet Wows Crowd At Gleason Center

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The critically acclaimed Christian Tambuur Quartet performed to a packed crowd in the Gleason Center for the Performing Arts on February 11.

This event marked Tambuur’s two days as Artist in Residency with the Florida Tech Music Department under the direction of Dr. Jamie Annette Younkin.
Tambuur has performed with Dave Brubeck, Clark Terry, James Moody, Bunky Green, Kenny Barron, Benny Green, Milt Hinton, Bucky Pizarelli, Tal Falow, Nicholas Payton, Billy Drummond, Matt Wilson, Eric Marienthal, Marcus Printup, Mark Murphy, Clint Holmes and Rene Marie.
TAMBUUR WAS SPECIAL GUEST ON WFIT
Over the past eight years, Tambuur and his group have performed at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Ravinia, The Brubeck Institute, Yoshi’s Jazz Club, The North Sea Jazz Festival and many others venues.
Tambuur was Dave Fries’ special guest on “A Taste of Jazz,” on February 10 on WFIT.
