Amber Hope Killed In Cocoa Auto Accident

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Amber Hope, 30, was killed in a single vehicle accident about 12 midnight last night at the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and Breckinridge Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Hope was traveling southbound on Satellite Boulevard, and for an unknown reason, she failed to keep control of her 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe.

The Tahoe traveled across the northbound travel lane, left the roadway, entered onto the west grass shoulder, and ran Into a ditch.  After running into the ditch, the Tahoe overturned and collided into a tree and came to final rest on its roof.

Hope, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, according to FHP. The crash remains under investigation.
