Fire Crews Fight 15-Acre Brush Fire In Viera

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Florida Forest Service is assisting Brevard County Fire Rescue crews battle a brush fire near Wexford Drive in Viera.
According to BCFR, no homes or structures are in danger, however, the 15-acre blaze had gotten within a few hundred feet of homes, but wind is pushing the fire away from homes toward previous burn lines.
BCFR is monitoring homes in Heron’s Landing and Auburn Lakes’ subdivisions.
