BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Enter a world of enchantment during a visit to Butterfly Wings and Enchanted Things, presented by Bright House Networks, from May 24 through Aug. 3.

This rare and magical occurrence happens once every few years. Don’t miss your chance to walk among hundreds of butterflies flying daily in the Australasia aviary. You may even discover a few mystical creatures hiding in their midst.
Take a magical journey into the world of fairies and trolls. Enter the wondrous Enchanted Hollow which is filled with beautiful flowers and foliage, provided by Rockledge Gardens, and sit and watch as fairy home making sparks children’s imaginations.

On the darker side of this journey, see large toads, tarantulas and possibly a troll. Don’t get stuck at the troll booth if you can’t answer the riddle.
Continue your journey into Australasia and encounter creatures of all kinds, sculpted from metal and recycled materials, created by Walt Mendenhall of Mendenhall Studios and Charlie Mills, Brevard Zoo’s resident artist and employee.
Your travels will end in the butterfly garden in the aviary. Hear the laughs of fairies and enjoy the sights of the incredible winged wonders, up to sixteen species of native butterflies. Be immersed in this mystical world and learn about conservation efforts and the Zoo’s animals along the way! Free with Zoo admission.
