KSC Credit Union Opens New Branch In Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Kennedy Space Center Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the opening of its new branch in Melbourne.
This new branch opens in conjunction with the change in the credit union’s name from KSC Federal Credit Union to “Launch FCU.”
The new branch will open its doors on June 2.
Activities are planned each Friday in June, beginning with “Spin Wheel Day” on June 6. A grand opening celebration will be held on Friday, June 13 and the first 100 people to stop by that day receive a free gift.
There will be snacks, drinks, a bounce house for the kids, a drawing for a GoPro camera, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m.
Other activities in June include a Health Day on June 20 and a Safari -themed day on June 27 with Brevard Zoo animals and photo opportunities.
“We chose Melbourne to build a new branch because of its large population and the need to serve our members in that area” says Joe Mirachi, President/CEO. This new 5,000 square foot branch features a drive-up ATM, multiple drive-through lanes, safe deposit boxes, and a full-service lobby.
“More and more people are choosing to join credit unions. We’ve experienced two consecutive years of record membership growth, and this year is no exception. People are looking for value everywhere. We have no minimum balance and no monthly service fees on our Classic checking account, which our members find to be a great value. We must be doing something right because more than 65% of our new members come from family or friend referrals” says Mirachi.
The lobby is open Monday – Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The drive-through is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
