BOB FREEMAN’S WEEKEND SURF REPORT
By Bob Freeman // June 21, 2014
GOOD MORNING, SURFERS!

SURF REPORT FOR JUNE 20 – JUNE 22, 2014

FRIDAY: Waves are running in the mostly knee-high range in the Cocoa Beach area with semi-clean lines from a northwesterly breeze.
This morning’s lower tide could help make the small waves more rideable. I’ve been watching a low pressure system just off our coast, but don’t see enough elements to increase surf as it tracks away from us.
SATURDAY: Saturday’s surf will remain in the mostly knee-high range with longboarding possible during the morning’s lower tide at the better small wave surf spots.
SUNDAY: I believe Sunday’s surf may decrease to less than knee-high. The easterly swell direction suggests that the Cocoa Beach area may again be the best location for desperate longboarders.
Ocean water temperatures are in the 78 degree range. Don’t forget to wear a rashguard and apply sunscreen.
