BOB FREEMAN’S WEEKEND SURF REPORT
By Bob Freeman // June 28, 2014
GOOD MORNING, SURFERS!

SURF REPORT FOR JUNE 27 – JUNE 29, 2014

FRIDAY: Waves are running in the mostly knee-high range in the Cocoa Beach area with clean lines from an offshore breeze.
Late morning’s dropping tide will present the best longboarding opportunity.
SATURDAY: Conditions will improve slightly. Fetch from a distant ESE swell will produce more rideable sets of waves peaking occassionaly at thigh-high.
An offshore breeze will produce clean lines ideal for those with longboards, funshapes or floaty fish types. Southern Brevard surf spots will have some of the swell blocked by the Bahama’s shadow.
Central Cocoa Beach spots could be the place to catch longer rides.
SUNDAY: Surf will increase into the solid thigh-high range with freak bigger sets. Offshore morning winds will again produce clean lines.
Ocean water temperatures are in the 78 degree range. Don’t forget to wear a rashguard and apply sunscreen.
