Titusville Police Search Warrant Prompted By Complaints From Residents, Businesses
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA — The Titusville Police Department executed a search warrant today at a local business known as Central Garage, located on 213 South Washington Avenue in the downtown historic district. (See map below)

According to the Titusville Police Department, Central Garage has been the source of several complaints from local residents and business owners.
The complaints indicated prostitution and illegal drug sales were occurring both inside and outside the business.
Members of the Titusville Police Department’s Special Investigations Section (VICE UNIT) conducted an investigation into the business.
The several months-long investigation culminated in the execution of a search warrant on the property, which also includes a private residence, and the arrest of two suspects.
According to the Titusville Police Department, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were collected during the execution of the search warrant.
The two men arrested were Clyde Robert Pirtle, 63, who charged with two counts, Sale of Cocaine within 1,000 feet of a Place of Worship; and James L. Darby, 52, who was charged with two counts of Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell and Two Counts of Sale of Cocaine.
Both subjects have been booked into the Brevard County Jail.
According to the Titusville Police Department, there were subjects and evidence to indicate prostitution was on-going, and investigation into the suspected activities are still continuing.
