World’s Largest Swimming Lesson Set For June 20

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – On Friday, June 20, tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities around the world unite for a fifth year in a row to set a new Guinness World Record.

The global record attempt for The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson will take place at 11 a.m. at Merritt Island High School Pool, 100 E. Mustang Way. To learn more about this phenomenal event visit Worldslargestswimminglesson.org.

Merritt Island High School pool, as operated by the Central Area of Brevard County Parks & Recreation, will be serving as an official Host Location Facility for this record-setting event.

This event is free to the public. On-site check-in will begin at 10 a.m. with the event promptly starting at 11 a.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Pre-registration is recommended.
