BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The FSBDC at Eastern Florida State College is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through cooperative agreements with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Defense Logistics Agency, State of Florida and other private and public partners; hosted by the University of West Florida; and nationally accredited by the Association of SBDC’s.

The 14th Annual Veterans Conference is set September 17 at the EFSC Melbourne Campus. The conference will feature veteran business  opportunities and resources. The Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) is a federally funded organization that offers numerous resources, services, workshops and seminars to small business owners and entrepreneurs in order to help them succeed and grow.

As part of the Florida Small Business Development Center Network and as a sub center of the Florida Small Business Development Center of the University of Central Florida, EFSC’s FSBDC has been actively serving Brevard County since 1990.

FSBDC sponsors seminars and workshops at no cost and fee-based courses and conferences that address a variety of topics, such as business start-up, basic management techniques, business planning, record keeping, specific industry issues, government contracting, international trade, computerization and many others depending on clients’ requests and needs.

FSBDC also offers consulting at no cost at EFSC locations, Chambers of Commerce and your place of business.

The FSBDC also gives the public access to a resource library, where individuals and small businesses can find useful information on issues such as taxes, financing and more.
