BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A single-engine Beechcraft Sierra aircraft crashed into the roof of the American Paint and Body Collision Center today at about 11:55 a.m. in the 2200 block of Garden Street.
Incredibly, both occupants of the plane survived the crash with minor injuries, and no one was hurt inside the building.
Officials said the plane’s destination was the Space Coast Regional Airport, but lost power, and the pilot tried to make it to Arthur Dunn AirPark in North Titusville.
Both occupants of the plane were transported to Parrish Medical Center with minor injuries.
The plane was heavily damaged and remains inside the building.
