BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The VNA Space Coast has announced that it has selected Mary Linn Hamilton, RN, MPH, as its new President and CEO.

“It is truly an honor to serve as the President and CEO of the VNA Space Coast,” said Hamilton.

Hamilton, who most recently served as President and CEO of the VNA of Rhode Island, brings extensive experience with home healthcare, hospice and palliative care, homemaker/companion services, and community wellness programming, all core services offered by the VNA of the Treasure Coast.

In addition, Hamilton’s leadership experience includes a thorough understanding of pediatric home care, home infusion services, and home medical equipment.

Hamilton earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Simmons College, in Boston, Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina.

She also completed a Fellowship at the University of Chicago’s Center for Health Administration Studies and has completed Doctoral Program coursework in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University’s School of Public Health.

Ford Fegert, interim CEO and former VNA Board Chair agreed, saying, “Mary Linn is dedicated to the ideals of providing the highest-quality patient care and exceptional customer service, two values at the heart of the VNA. The VNA also provides community wellness services such as flu vaccinations, no-cost blood pressure/blood glucose screenings, and speakers on health-related topics for local community groups.
