Cocoa Police Apprehend, Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

COCOA, FLORIDA —  Cocoa Police are searching for Thomas Lowell, 64 of Merritt Island, after he was identified as the suspect of a bank robbery.

According to Cocoa Police public information officer Barbara Matthews, at 3:10 p.m. today, Lowell entered the Bank of America in Cocoa, handed the teller a note which read “give me all your money or I’ll shoot,” and then left the bank with an unknown amount of cash.

According to Matthews, investigators were able to identify Lowell so quickly because they are currently working a case where the same suspect, Lowell, entered the same bank and cashed a fraudulent check.

CRIMELINE-200

Investigators said that Lowell was wearing the same “Sons of Anarchy” t-shirt when he committed that crime several weeks ago.

Police are searching for Lowell and anyone with information as to Lowell’s current location is asked to contact the police or CRIMELINE immediately at 800-423-TIPS.  Cocoa Police 321-639-7620 – prompt 4.
