Florida Tech, Eastern Florida Women’s Soccer Play Tonight

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Florida Tech Panthers will get a taste of game action on Monday night when they host fellow Melbourne institution Eastern Florida State College in an exhibition game.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Rick Stottler Field. The Panthers are coming off an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2013.
The squad advanced to the second round of the tournament, and posted a 12-6-2 overall record. The 12 wins were the second most for a single season in program history.
The 2014 regular season begins for the Panthers with a trip to the Hawaiian Islands on Sept. 4-6. The squad will face BYU-Hawaii on Sept. 4 and the Sharks of Hawaii Pacific on Sept. 6. Both games will be played at 9 p.m.
The Titans finished the 2013 season with a 12-3-1 overall record, and made their second consecutive appearance in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament. The Titans are ranked highly in preseason polls.
The NJCAA has the squad ranked sixth, while the National Soccer Coaches Association of America ranks the Titans eighth in the nation. Admission is free for Monday night’s match.
