Sheriff’s Office Apprehends Oklahoma Murder Suspect

APPREHENDED IN SATELLITE BEACH

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit located and arrested 44-year-old Nelson Barron who had an arrest warrant for Murder and Robbery from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.CSI-oklahoma-slider

According to BCSO public information officer Maria Fernez, Oklahoma Investigators notified the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office of Nelson’s warrant. Agents then conducted surveillance and were able to locate and apprehend Nelson as he exited a convenience store in Satellite Beach. Nelson was transported to the Brevard County Jail Complex where he is being held without bond.

In addition to the Oklahoma City warrant, Nelson is also being held on an outstanding Brevard County Violation of Probation warrant. According to Oklahoma City Investigators, Nelson is the suspect in a 2008 Murder and Robbery that occurred in Oklahoma City.
