Two Killed After Boat Capsizes in Indian River Lagoon

UPDATE: FWC has identified the two victims as 65-year-old Stephanie Coleman of New York and 4-year-old Ares Aronoyos of Mims.

MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – An elderly woman and a child were killed after a boat capsized in the Indian River Lagoon.

According to witnesses, six individuals were pulled from the Lagoon, near the Eau Gallie Causeway, including four other occupants who, according to the FWC, survived.
