ABOVE VIDEO: Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s first TV ad for re-election focuses on her record of fighting against hard drugs on Florida’s streets.

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — Florida Attorney General Bondi’s campaign aired the first TV ad for November’s general election vs. Democrat candidate George Sheldon.

In the ad, Bondi touts her past experience as a prosecutor and current work as a Florida Attorney General who works with law enforcement to punish criminals who were pushing inllegal drugs throughout the state:

“As a prosecutor, I’ve seen crime and brutality fueled by drugs,” Bondi said.” 

As Attorney General, I banned synthetic forms of heroin and acid that are poisoning our kids. And, with our amazing law enforcement, we closed down the pill mills. Of the top 100 oxycodone-­‐dispensing doctors in this country, 98 of them lived in Florida.  Today, there are none.”

The Pam Bondi for Attorney General Campaign today announced the launch of a statewide television advertisement to air in five of Florida’s major media markets beginning Tuesday, September 9, 2014.

The ad, entitled ‘Streets,’ highlights the Attorney General’s success in eradicating pill mills and in working to get synthetic drugs out of the hands of Florida’s youth.

“Attorney General Pam Bondi has earned a national reputation in taking on synthetic drugs and running unscrupulous pill mill doctors out of Florida,” said campaign manager Pablo Diaz.

“This first advertisement highlights Bondi’s tough on crime initiatives. Florida voters will have the opportunity to learn more about her record of accomplishments and her work with law enforcement officials, who have endorsed her re-election efforts.”
