It is the first conference award of the season for the Panthers, and the third time Kantor has earned SSC Player of the Week honors during her career.

Kantor, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has recorded three consecutive shutouts for the Panthers. She totaled a career-high 14 saves as the Panthers played No. 8 Barry to a scoreless draw in Miami Shores, Florida.

Kantor then made three saves this past weekend in the Panthers 2-0 victory over Eckerd at Rick Stottler Field, and has not allowed a goal in her last 293 minutes of game action.

The two shutouts gave Kantor four for the season, which leads the SSC, and dropped her goals-against-average to 0.80.

The Panthers return to action Wednesday afternoon as they take on Armstrong State in Savannah, Georgia. Game time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
