One of Brevard’s Most Wanted Arrested At Airport

Travis Charles Carr Taken Into Custody At Melbourne International Airport
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Marshal’s Service and the Melbourne Airport Police Department located and arrested 32-year-old Travis Charles Carr who had an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation in reference to Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer.
Agents with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit and the United States Marshal’s Service Partnership investigated a tip that Carr was planning on returning to Brevard County.
Agents then confirmed Carr was traveling on a commercial flight destined for the Melbourne International Airport.
Fugitive Agents coordinated with the Melbourne Airport Police who located and arrested Carr when his flight landed without incident. He was then transported to the Brevard County Jail where he was held without bond.
Carr had been listed on the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted website and recently featured in an episode of BCSO Fugitive Hunt.
