Police Seek Identity of Car Burglar Caught On Video

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A homeowner’s private security camera captured an image of a burglary suspect who is believed to have been involved in several vehicle burglaries that occurred in the area between Emerson Drive NE and American Boulevard NE in late August.

All of the burglaries occurred during the overnight hours of August 21 – 29, according to Palm Bay police.

In several of the reported cases, the victims described the suspect as a black male in his early to mid-20s, approximately 6-feet tall, thin build and a “faded” haircut.

This individual was seen on a bicycle with a light on the front. The suspect entered unlocked vehicles and stole loose change, cash, a cell phone, wallet and a GPS device.

Police have received a total of nine reports from residents on Nemo Circle NE, Dinner Street NE, Gladiola Lane NE, Hawthorne Lane NE, Cellini Ave NE and Filbert Avenue NE.

Anyone with information about the identity of the individual seen in the surveillance photos is asked to contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.
