BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Brevard County Animal Services is offering the popular “Wheel of Adoption” for the entire month of September.

Those adopting a pet from the County’s Animal Care Centers in Melbourne or Titusville can spin the Wheel of Adoption for a chance at winning prizes, reduced adoption fees or to get the adopted pet for free, according to Karla Torpy, director of Animal Services and Enforcement.

Adopters are eligible to spin the wheel after they have been approved for adoption. There are several potential incentives that adopters can land on when they give it a spin.

These include adoption fees significantly less than the normal fees of $80 for dogs and $70 for cats. Pets included in this promotion are dogs, puppies, cats under 3 years old and kittens. Adoption fees for cats over 3 years old are $10, which covers the County’s annual license fee.

All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.
