Titusville Police Seek Suspicious Incident Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville police are investigating a single incident which occurred on Wednesday at 8 a.m. on Sycamore Street near the railroad tracks.

According to the Titusville Police department, a Titusville High school student had an encounter with an unknown person while walking to school. The intent of the unidentified person is unclear at this time, according to police.

According to Titusville Police Sgt. Glen Hamann, officers continue to investigate the incident, and have taken considerable steps for undercover surveillance and visibility in the following days.

The suspect was described only as a black male, 5-feet-11, and wearing a black hoody.

“At this time we have not located any direct eye-witnesses to this single incident,” said Sgt. Hamann. “If anyone has first-hand knowledge of the event, we urge them to contact the Titusville Police Department.”

“We are aware of some incorrect information on social media indicating a second incident. Nobody has reported a second incident of any kind to our department at this time.”
