2014 Florida TechXpo Underway In Melbourne

MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The 4th annual 2014 TechXpo presented by Thales, kicks off another exciting year on Friday, Manufacturing Day, October 3rd, from 9AM – 4PM at the Midair USA Inc., production facility located at 100 Aerospace Drive, Melbourne, FL 32935.

The Melbourne Regional Chamber is proud to present this technology exposition in partnership with the Florida Institute of Technology, Midair USA & the Melbourne Air & Space Show sponsored by Northrop Grumman.

TechXpo will showcase the region’s top technology firms in areas such as energy, aerospace, robotics, simulation, aviation, transportation, electronics, defense, 3D printing, and medical technologies.

This single-day event allows companies with advanced technologies and innovations to display their products and services to other companies looking for resources and suppliers.

Attendees to the Florida 2014 TechXpo can tour the exhibit hall floor filled with interactive exhibits, attend the Manufacturing Day Luncheon, and catch a glimpse of the USAF Thunderbirds practice from 12:30PM – 1:05PM in preparation for the Melbourne Air & Space Show on October 4th & 5th.

This year approximately 250 STEM students and chaperones from area high schools will visit the exposition floor.

In conjunction with the activities of TechXpo, the TechNovation Awards Banquet, presented by Embraer, will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at the Hilton Oceanfront from 6-9PM. Congressional awards in technology will be presented by Congressman Bill Posey’s office recognizing significant local achievements in technology.
