BCSO Recovers Stolen Truck, Apprehends Suspects

MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA — Brevard County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen truck and apprehended two men suspected of stealing the automobile.
According to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer David Jacobs, when a deputy on patrol in Merritt Island attempted a routine traffic stop on the vehicle, the suspects fled from the traffic stop, then proceeded to wreck the vehicle on a tight turn approximately one half mile north of the intersection with Crockett Blvd.
Following the wreck, the suspects fled the scene, but deputies quickly apprehended the suspects.
